Subject: Two panels depict a carp or koi swimming up a waterfall, or the dragon gate, alluding to the story that if a carp swims up a waterfall it will turn into a dragon. This scene is accented with Japanese maple leaves (momiji). The other two panels depict a tiger looking up at a dragon in the clouds. This scene is accented with bamboo.
