Origin/Maker: Awaji ware (also called Minpei ware, Awaji Island, Japan) with Izumo Jakuzan decorations, or unusually colored and marked Izumo Jakuzan ware (出雲若山, also called Izumo Wakayama ware, Izumo, Shimane Prefecture, Japan). With ユ (Yu) hiragana potter's stamp on lower side (potter's marks like this are common with Awaji ware)
