Subject: Brass teapot decorated with paulownia flowers (kiri) and leaves on the front, back, and lid, with a chrysanthemum flower (kiku) shaped handle finial, with chrysanthemum leaves surrounding the handle on the lid. Paulownia and chrysanthemum flowers are symbols of the Japanese government and Imperial family.
