This kanji character, ken in Japanese is from the kanji characters of kenryu-nen-sei which stands for the Chinese Qianlong period (1736-1795). Japanese porcelain with 'Imari' decoration. Late Edo period (1780-1860).
Size: 3 5/8" diameter (9.2075 cm), 2 3/8" tall (6.0325 cm)

Condition: Item is used in good condition commensurate with age, see photos. Some light surface wear. Original to manufacture glaze defect on inside near top. Crack, possibly original to manufacture, to foot.
Subject: Underglaze blue and white (sometsuke) with designs of plants, water, and clouds.
