Condition: Item is used in good condition commensurate with age, see photos. Some light wear to painted design. Three small chips to foot rim, possibly original to manufacture.
Subject: Bowl decorated in Iidaya style with Aka-e red and gold decorations of two men, surrounded by designs of phoenix (ho-o) birds and rain. dragons. Outside of bowl is decorated with chrysanthemum flowers (kiku), peony flowers (botan), and cherry blossoms (sakura)
