Condition: Inro is used in fair condition commensurate with age, see photos. Several small chips. Side pieces of bottom piece appear to have been repaired (note the difference in the karakusa vine design). Some surface wear.
Subject: With maki-e lacquer designs of stylized kanji characters for longevity and good fortune on checkerboard ground. Top of inro has a dragon, bottom has more characters, and sides have tako karakusa designs (arabesque octopus-like vine pattern)
