Condition: Item is used in fair condition commensurate with age, see photos. Some surface wear, some wear and chips to lacquer design, some dents.
Subject: Lacquered wood Katabori netsuke of a mandarin duck, with the lacquer texture and color resembling cast iron, and with the wings in yellow, orange, red, and black (the red and black giving the impression of negoro lacquer). Two himotoshi (cord holes) in base.
