Subject: For sale is a small antique Japanese Minpei Awaji ceramic eggplant / aubergine (nasu) shaped teapot, decorated with a faintly iridescent purple glaze. Teapot measures 4 1/4" long, 3 3/4" tall, and weighs 4.4 oz. Item is used in good condition commensurate with age, see photos. Some scraping and scratches along lower side of teapot. Tiny chip to top of lid.
