Subject: For sale is a large antique Japanese porcelain Igezara ware plate, platter, or charger. Igezara ware plates were made between 1880 - 1910. This plate is decorated with a blue and white Blue Willow transferware design of trees and a village alongside a river and brown scalloped edges. Plate has a stilt mark on the base and a stamped four character maker's mark. I have several similar plates for sale, all listed separately and available in the "Japanese Porcelain - Transferware" section of my store. Item measures 12 1/4" in diameter and weighs 2 lbs 10.5 oz. Item is used in good condition commensurate with age, see photos. Some dimples and light scratches, no chips or cracks.
