Age: Early 1900s. Meiji Period (1868 - 1912) or Taisho Period (1912 - 1926)
Origin/Maker: Sumida ware (sometimes called Sumidagawa ware). Maker's mark for HARA GOZAN on lower side of vase. Sumida ware was from Asakusa in Tokyo (near the Sumida river), and they later moved to Yokohama in 1924.

Condition: Item is used in fair condition commensurate with age, see photos. Two vertical hairline cracks along top of vase Some wear to painted designs
Subject: Decorated with raised designs in relief of a landscape scene, with a large tree, a house with a person looking out the window, a bridge, a river, mountains, and a full moon. Partially painted and partially decorated with a flambe glaze.
