Condition: Item is used in fair condition commensurate with age, see photos. Some light surface wear. Two original to manufacture glaze defects on the upper brown rim, one of which has a tiny chip.
Subject: Glazed in Yoshidaya Ko-Kutani style with yellow, dark cobalt blue, green, and purple with designs of chrysanthemums (kiku), paulownia leaves and flowers (kiri; kiku and kiri are symbols of the Japanese Emperor), tako-karakusa (arabesque style vines), and clouds
