His grandfather was the second-generation Ryuho, a master of the potter's wheel, one of the best in Bizen. He majored in sculpture at the Kanazawa College of Art, Faculty of Fine Arts, and after graduating, he studied ceramics at the Kyoto Municipal Industrial Technology Research Institute. In 2012, he became independent and began making pottery. He mainly produces tea pottery, sake pottery, and tableware. He is particularly good at thin pottery, focusing on works that are shaped and polished on the potter's wheel. He uses a climbing kiln for firing. Without forgetting his commitment to form and his desire to explore materials, he says he wants to create sculptures based on Bizen ware in the future. Since 2012, he has held a solo exhibition at a gallery in Okayama every year. In 2015, he held a group exhibition and workshop in the UK.
