Collected: Kamakura Japan old house (400 years old) estate sale 2023
Condition: Items are used in fair condition commensurate with age, see photos. Several kintsugi (gold lacquer repaired) hairline cracks and one surface defect on one cup, and one repaired chip on the other cup. These pieces were found damaged, and I made the kintsugi repairs (Neo Kintsugi as taught by Kintsugi LA - 2 part epoxy bond, filler putty for chips, coated with new urushi (artificial lacquer) mixed with brass powder). The gold mark on the base is my mark (RS) for the repairs.
