Origin/Maker: Koishiwara ware (formerly called Nakano ware), Koishiwara, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. Unsigned.
Koishiwara ware is closely associated with the Mingei art movement, considered a folk art, and is also very similar in style to Onta / Onda ware (both use similar glaze techniques and chatter marks)

Subject: Pitcher with chatter marks design along the upper edge, with a caramel brown ame-yu glaze and a blue green dripping glaze.
