Condition: Item is used in fair condition commensurate with age, see photos. Top of spout was broken and repaired. Wear to overglaze painted design, especially gold painted parts. Very small chip to glaze at base, possibly an original to manufacture defect.
Subject: Two men in a garden, one likely a scholar, the other carrying two water buckets and kneeling on a fallen banana leaf. Various flowers, plants, and a bird. Decorations in underglaze blue and overglaze paints. A sculpted dragon coils around the spout of the vase.
