Origin/Maker: Japanese, Satsuma style. Unmarked. I believe it is likely by Makuzu Kozan judging by the decorations on the upper half of the piece (they are a close match to decorations on a Makuzu Kozan marked Satsuma style vase in my collection). Similar censers by Kozan were marked on the underside of the lid (example: https://www.2ezr.com/items/1406076/Meiji-Japanese-Makuzu-Kozan-Satsuma-Censer-Koro-Buddha-Crane)
