Condition: Item is used in fair condition commensurate with age, see photos. Original to manufacture glaze defect on inside of bowl. Some surface wear and scratches, most notably some of the painted grapes on the outside are worn away or chipped.
Subject: Decorated with designs of phoenix bird (ho-o) and paulownia tree leaves and flowers in center panel and dragons and chrysanthemums in outside panels. Bottom of bowl decorated with design of grape leaves, vines, and fruit.
