Condition: Item is used in fair condition commensurate with age, see photos. Some wear and staining. A crack to the side of the netsuke, with an interesting repair of a small string tied around the netsuke to keep it from further splitting.
Subject: In the shape of a water bucket (teoke) or a bamboo node. An old piece of rolled up paper holds the himotoshi (cord hole) peg in place, so that it doesn't fall out and get lost. Note the interesting repair of a small string tied around the netsuke to keep it from further splitting.
