Kanefuru Furuta Shoten かねふる 古田商店 , Arita ware / Imari ware, style of Kakiemon ware, Arita, Japan. Maker's mark on base reading 古田 (Furuta).
Founded in 1908, it is a five-minute walk from JR Arita Station. It houses a gallery for Dorakuza, a creative group of eight potteries, and also sells works by artists, general tableware, and art objects.
Little information on the Tetsugama kiln in the Arita region, apparently active before the Second World War but which today produces traditional tableware with Imari decoration.
